National Risk Control Manager

A Managed Services division of large staffing firm provides suite of staff management services to their clients and is seeking to enhance their safety and loss prevention programs. This position will manage all safety programs and activities. This role will be instrumental in establishing and enforcing the safety policy and procedures and managing the nation-wide safety team and focus on Loss Prevention. 

Majority of this role will involve:

• Overseeing the data integrity of RMIS system as it pertains to frequency of losses.
• Responsibility for developing and enforcing Loss Prevention (Safety) strategies.
• Reducing Incident Reporting (IR) lag time.
• Establishing tracking program for the near miss incidents
• Standardizing/Optimizing the Investigation process
• Establishing a Risk Assessment program (Proactive review of Incident trends or frequent offenders)

What Requirements Are Necessary?

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role.
• OSHA training.
• Experience within all or most of the following industries: Light Industrial, Food industry, Construction, Warehouse, Pick and Pak as well as transportation required.
• Must be a resourceful team player with strong leadership skills

Preferred experience: Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and staffing industry (PEO) experience strongly preferred.
