About the opportunity Great opportunity for an experienced actuary professional with extensive annuity and life knowledge, working within an established Insurer based in the Cayman Islands. You will be responsible for the company s: Pricing and Valuations Estimating the probability and likely economic cost of events (i.e. death, sickness, an accident, or a natural disaster) Designing, testing, and administering insurance policies, investments, pension plans, and other business strategies to minimize risk and maximize profitability Liaising and communication with clients to discuss loss trends, data concerns and data developments Presentation and explanation of findings to senior management, company executives, government officials, shareholders, and clients Updating economic models with estimates and projections through production of charts, tables, and reports This is an incredible opportunity to be the Chief Actuary and completely own the annuity and life assurance process. The position will be highly autonomous, and of key importance within the organization. About you This is an exciting opportunity for a credentialed actuary with at least 5-10+ years of actuarial experience, particularly within life and annuity, combined with extensive assurance and insurance knowledge. You will have advanced knowledge of VBA, SQL and Excel with experience in @Risk and Res Q software packages.
