SENIOR ACCOUNT/FINANCIAL ANALYST SUMMARY:This position will exercise discretion and independent judgment concerning a multitude of accounting tasks, assists departmental managers in reviewing balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports, analyzes issues, and assists in problem resolution. Assists with establishing internal controls for all functions at the company level and ensure that all controls are in place and followed. Actively supports the Companys vision and goals. Embraces and executes the Company Core Values. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Includes the following; other duties will be assigned in a progressive manner. Recording more complex month end entries Analyzing and reconciling detailed general ledger accounts Budgeting Develop and maintain monthly financial dashboards containing key metrics by Product line Analyzing and reconciling detailed general ledger accounts Maintaining and monitoring account balances and post journals Effectively research, track, and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies Prepare related ad hoc reports, summaries and records. Prepare Month End Close Prepare Year End Close Provides support to Payables&Receivables department Job Costing SUPERVISORY SKILLS: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Three years+ experience in accounting. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None required for this position LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies, documents and regulations in English. Write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and clients. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages and volume. Apply concepts of basic arithmetic. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
