AVP * Program Management Office (PMO) Lead for Commercial Insurance client This position will have responsibility for leading PMO office for Small Commercial Insurance Strategic Platform. ResponsibilitiesLead Program ManagementOffice (PMO) for SCI organization to deliver a multi-year, > $50M portfolio.Specific responsibilities includePlan, Organize, Lead and Control all aspects of IT organization * including program planning/delivery, project management, financial management, communication/risk management, executive status reporting, relationship management and change managementDefine and implement program management principles, strategy, structure, and processes for overall program as well as various individual componentsEnsure PMO processes are implemented according to corporate PMO guidelinesAccountable for ensuring adherence to IT Audit, Security, and SOX Compliance processes Accountable for delivering software for various components of strategic platform (including major initiatives, enhancement, and defect fixes) with agreed upon scope, quality and timeline. Drive the execution and delivery of all work streams within the projectEnsure software is implemented according quality gates and standards. Define and execute proper quality control gates to gain sign-offs for design, and development phases of SDLC phasesAccountable for financial management with an annual budget of about $20M+. Prepare business case, and ensure ROI is achieved. Responsible for defining annual IT budget, and managing actuals/forecasts on a monthly basis. Manage variance according to business expectations and corporate IT Finance guidelines Skills/Experience15 * 20 years of experience with high volume sales, and service Portal, Integration, Policy Administration, Workflow, Billing, and Claims in P&C industryDomain knowledge of P&C industry with BOP, Umbrella, Workers Comp, Auto, and Specialty productsExperience with delivering multi-year, $50M+ strategic platform is requiredExperience with strategic consulting and technical delivery is a plusPMP certification is a mustStrong ability to lead diverse teams (vendors, multi locations, on/off shore)Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Clarity, Visio, MS PowerPointWorking knowledge of Insurity*s Policy Decisions platform including IEV and/or Accenture*s Duck Creek platform a plusAgile, SCRUM certification or similar preferredPMO, Commercial Insurance experience, Duck Creek
