TheSenior Financial Reporting Accountantparticipates in the worldwide financial statement consolidation. The employee uses knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements to prepare external financial statements, prepares periodic internal management financial reports, accurately records transactions within CMCOs ERP and consolidation systems, and reconciles various balance sheet accounts. Key Accountabilities: Participate in the consolidation of CMCOs the worldwide financial statements. Prepare consolidation journal entries and review results for accuracy. Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with SEC and U.S. GAAP regulations (i.e. 10Q and 10K). Prepare periodic management reports, statement of cash flows, and other financial statements. Reconcile several monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. Ensure the proper global application of U.S. GAAP, Corporate Policies and Procedures, etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Competencies: Technical understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to research technical accounting topics. Experience with SEC financial reporting requirements. Strong Microsoft Excel data processing skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast paced, highly productive team environment. Basic understanding of SOX documentation requirements Success Measures: Skilled in interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form. Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate in individual and group settings. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications: Higher education degree (at least bachelor degree) with a major in Accounting. Preferred to have a CPA license and public accounting experience. Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing. Special Position Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with the application of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and technical accounting matters. Additionally this individual should have experience with various ERP systems. The individual should have experience with Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Database software; and Internet software.
