The role holder provides assistance to the Team Lead, Investigations Support Team and to the Controls Operations Group at large to ensure that the business and operations of Standard Chartered Bank ("the Bank") are compliant with the New York State Department of Financial Services imposed Business Restrictions programme, relevant regulations imposed by the Bank's various functional regulators and / or any other recommended guidance that has been adopted by the Bank. Key Roles and Responsibilities The role holder provides assistance to the Team Lead, Investigations Support Team and to the Controls Operations Group at large to ensure that the business and operations of Standard Chartered Bank ("the Bank") are compliant with the New York State Department of Financial Services imposed Business Restrictions programme, relevant regulations imposed by the Bank's various functional regulators and / or any other recommended guidance that has been adopted by the Bank. To support management by ensuring the quality and integrity of various Controls functions, including but not limited to: SAR Quality Control SAR Filing SAR Reporting Repository Supplemental SAR Support Process (Palantir Runs, Relevance Analysis, Detica Case Creation and Documentation Upload) SAR Dashboard SAR and Subpoena Search Requests CDD SAR Search Requests Significant Matter Tracking 314b Tracking Detica Queue Distribution Intelligence Exchange (Incoming and Outgoing) IWLCL Manual Review CDD and PSCU Dashboards Group and CBOG Reporting Ad hoc SAR and Palantir Searches / Reporting Three (3) or More SAR Reviews and Daily Tracker Review / Updates Process Reviews and Improvement Supplemental SAR Support Due Date Tracking and Notifications SAR Deemed / Due Date Tracking and Management Notifications To support the promotion of the business, culture and practices of United States ("U.S.") FCC operations within the letter and spirit of all applicable U.S. laws and regulations and in accordance with Group standards and industry best practices. To support the sustainability of the business through assisting the Investigations Support function (housed within the COG) in carrying out all assigned duties. To support the Team Lead, Investigations Support Team directly or by affording support to other units / groups within U.S. FCC with ad hoc requests. RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall Responsibilities To support and assist the Investigations Unit in meeting all statutory requirements and Group initiatives including but not limited to SAR filing, quality control, internal reporting, affiliate information sharing, and significant matter tracking. Ensure that the Bank adheres to requirements set out as put forth in the procedures and in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations and / or consent orders and amendments thereto through adherence to established policies and procedures.
