Insurance Accounting Director

he Global Accounting & Performance team ((GAP) provides accounting and performance measurement services to clients across the spectrum, from funds through to separate accounts, where a shadow accounting service is performed and outsourced financial accounting for insurance clients. This role is part of the Investment Accounting Group (IAG), delivering outsourced financial accounting services to insurance companies who are clients of the companys Investment Accounting. We are currently embarked on a strategic upgrade of our accounting and operational platform, including end-client delivery, fully integrated with the latest Aladdin tools. We are also extending our current service offering with the addition of alternative asset classes. We are simultaneously implementing several large, new business opportunities and, to help drive and lead these initiatives, we are now recruiting for a senior accounting professional with strong institutional knowledge in accounting for alternatives for insurance companies. Working within GAP, the role-holder will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for implementing our future state outsourced accounting platform. The role-holder will be responsible for evaluating and extending our capabilities in delivering accounting services for a broader range of asset classes, through an end-to-end client accounting service, from trade capture to delivery of accounting statements and client support. There will also be some staff management responsibilities. 20% bonus plan and relocation expenses paid
