RequirementsDo you know how to build relationships with pirates while seeking treasure and can find a single lost coin at the bottom of the big blue sea? Then we want you at BILLSHARK! Come join our team to help us cast safety nets for customers over murky waters while building relationships with both the pirates and the crew and help change customers livelihood forever! We are growing our finance crew, and are looking for new recruits that will be responsible for activities in accounts receivable. Managing the ship with the senior analysts and cross-functional crew, these mates will help close deals and deliver gold. Must be detail-oriented with a very high level of accuracy (we can t afford to get lost in murky waters!) Be able to walk a tight rope between masts (meet tight deadlines without falling on deck or in shark infested waters) Be your own captain and get to work even when no one else is there to tell you to do it! Able to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of authority. You must treat the cook the same as the first mates. Respect is key! Solid experience with MS Office/Excel the boat doesn t drive itself, so you must be able to navigate a computer effectively. 2-5 years experience navigating fast paced waters in an accounting environment (accounts receivable preferred) B.S. in Accounting preferred (without any BS attitude) Challenges Billing, Cash Application, Accounts Receivable maintenance Work with Order Administration and Sales crews to set up new customers, respond to requests and resolve customer issues (with a smile, not a scowl) Monitor and collect past due receivables throw up the white flag and reel em in! Assist with various other credit or general accounting as needed Support internal and external audits Participation in ad-hoc projects (not everything is clear on an uncharted map!)
