Core Competencies -Strong Written&Verbal Communications Skills -Ability to set and meet priorities -Work Affectively as part of a team -Ability to work Independently- Proven ability to meet cash and collection goals -Attention to Detail -Strong Problem- Solving Skills -Strong Work Ethic -Strong Initiative and Follow- Through -Proven ability to keep A/R accounts current Overall summary:Sr. Portfolio Analyst (SPA) is responsible for managing Fortune 2000 companies: including, but not limited to, client relationship building, terms of sale compliance/tools cause analysis, account reconciliations, PO tracking/ Portal Management, and sales coordination in a confident and professional manner. The SPA must be performance driven, with a proven track record of success preventing/reducing aged receivables and able to prioritize and escalate collections activities so that monthly collections goals are delivered. SPA must have strong working knowledge of credit and risk assessment, and they must be able to comfortably interact with all levels of management both inside and outside of the company. Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities include: Manage Multi-Million dollar collection portfolio with 50- 350 accounts. Manage the Credit Assessment Process, review new orders, and be able to escalate any issues to credit management. Perform daily collections activities on delinquent accounts, eliminate small unpaid balances, cash and credit on account that are not pertinent to open receivable, with the goal of keeping aged AR 30+days with performance expectations. Present collections activities to credit and collections management to determine future action plans. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while continuing to perform daily functions. Qualifications: 3 to 5 years strong commercial credit&collections experience with a mid to large size organization. College degree with a major in Accounting or Finance preferred Proven record of being able to attain monthly collection goals. Experience in working with an enterprise wide A/R system. Third party software experience, eg: Getpaid (FIS) preferred. Strong work knowledge of Excel and Word. Able to write collection letters and emails to solicit payments from clients .Detailed oriented, well organized, self motivated and flexible, good attitude and strong phone presence.Good listen skillsAbility to meet specified deadlines.
