Client & Policy Servicing Specialist

Summary:

CapSpecialty seeks an energetic, adaptable client and policy servicing specialist to add to its experienced, team-oriented staff. While delivering service excellence, this position will be responsible for processing new and renewal quotes and policies, with high productivity and 100% quality to our agents. Assisting Underwriters in achieving service standards through process improvements and team communications is but another way to contribute to the team. Other responsibilities include:

• Increase underwriting profitability by attaining good competitor business and retaining good renewal business through service excellence. 
• Assist the Rapid Response Underwriters in achieving service standards by facilitating team communication, implementing team quality improvements, monitoring and ensuring team consistency and addressing service issues with team members and Underwriters. 
• Independently resolve obstacles impeding the delivery of Rapid Response service and premium results, whether external or internal, system-generated or other. 

Successful candidates will possess many of the following characteristics:

• Two years of experience with insurance underwriting or training.  
• Four years of customer service experience.
• Previous property & casualty insurance preferred. 
• Excellent initiative and problem-resolution skills.
• Proven exceptional customer service, communication and phone skills.
• Admirable organization and team-interaction skills. 
• Successful computer skills.
