The primary responsibilities of this position will be importing, validating, scrubbing, transforming and producing relevant information to analyze and measure sales and financial performance of the business. This position will also provide back-up and support as needed for the weekly and monthly commission processing done by the Manager, Commission and Sales Reporting. This position will play an integral role with the Sales Management Team, E-Commerce, Business Line Managers and distribution partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts sales research, collects and analyzes data from diverse sources to help identify and quantify revenue opportunities and to develop efficient processes and reports for various sales initiatives
- Ensures integrity of the data from diverse sources to achieve high quality data.
- Uses analytic skills to track sales plans in geographic markets, distribution models; product and mix opportunities nationally and regionally
- Identifies trends and opportunities; analyze information using various methods looking for patterns in data
- Works with EVP Sales to develop metrics and goals to increase sales productivity
- Creates presentations and detailed reports of data to present findings with stakeholders
- Provide support and back-up for commission and bonus payment processing as required
- Designs and provides ad hoc reports, weekly revenue and flash reports and financial models
- Develop and prepare information products to be used by the sales group
- Performs similar job-related duties as assigned
- Support accounting functions as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

- SQL Database – intermediate skills, writing queries
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Access
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis methods
- Excellent understanding of databases and computer software systems
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills for financial presentations as well as communicating written guide lines and procedures for field compliance
- Proven ability to collaborate with sales staff and management to position cohesive messages to diverse team and functional roles
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Working knowledge of sales date and how sales leaders use as a tool
- Strong presentation skills – both creating content and delivering message
- A willingness and ability to work across organizational boundaries
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
