Data Analytics supports borrower acquisition through building demand forecast models, providing analytical insights to explain performance against business goals, and collaborating with marketing team to drive business growth. The ideal candidate possesses deep analytical experience in demand planning and forecasting, as well as developing segmentation and marketing attribution models. The candidate must above all be passionate about leveraging data to drive decision making and will proactively seek opportunities to achieve business results.  What you’ll be doing: Influencing key decisions across online marketing programs through robust data analysis, distilling and presenting actionable insights.  Forecasting traffic, conversion, and revenue based on marketing program variables, historical trends, projected funnel performance, and product technology initiatives. Partnering with marketing and product teams to identify and drive growth initiatives. Creating optimal test designs to help quantify the performance of marketing initiatives. Delivering ad hoc analyses in support of major business decisions and translating those analyses into actionable recommendations. Leading projects independently; projects must be led in a fashion that builds consensus while also identifying risks and removing roadblocks. Successfully engaging in multiple initiatives simultaneously.  What we’re looking for:  Required: 2+ years minimum knowledge of finance, statistics, accounting, and/or financial services. 2-3+ year’s strong hands-on analyst experience in financial services or e-commerce businesses. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Able to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems, clearly communicate findings of analysis, and propose solutions that address expressed needs. Outstanding oral and written communication skills, capable of addressing both technical and non-technical audiences at a variety of organizational levels. Ability to work and contribute in a team environment is essential, as is the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization and share findings with a large, non-technical audience.  A Plus: Master’s Degree in Management, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent.  Ability in one programming language, preferably python, is a plus. Fluency in big data platforms such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Spark is a plus. Experience with text mining and statistical language processing is a plus. Outstanding record of academic achievement. Strong background in applying statistical machine learning techniques to predictive modeling.   Character Traits: Excellent communicator, teacher, and student Highly motivated to tackle multiple projects in parallel. Possesses aptitude to independently learn new technologies. Exhibits a generosity of spirit. A perfectionist who tempers it with deadlines.
