A global reinsurer that attaches great importance to developing the skills of its employees has an opportunity to join their Treaty Underwriting department. This person could be in either Chicago or New York City.
In this role you will…
- Evaluate renewal and new General Liability, Auto Liability, and Environmental Liability treaty reinsurance programs.
- Identify clients that are attractive opportunities and work closely with brokers that handle accounts that fit the within their underwriting targets.
What we are looking for…
- College degree.
- 7+ years of prior reinsurance underwriting or casualty facultative experience required
- Strong knowledge regarding Liability reinsurance.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
