For more information, visit As a Managing Consultant in CrossCountry s Finance&Operations group you will focus on providing organizational, process, and technology recommendations designed to streamline finance and operations and efficiently address regulatory compliance. Our experienced consultants leverage a blend of operations and finance function knowledge, process and technology capabilities, internal control design experience, and program/project management expertise to assist organizations with designing and implementing change programs. Finance&Operations has four service offerings designed to support CFOs and COOs: Finance Optimization helping finance organizations optimize and align their operating model (organization, process, and technology) to be a better strategic business partner to the business Operations Improvement using proven methodologies and bring hands-on experience to analyze the current environment and design innovative solutions that will have the greatest impact on the overall function of the organization Regulatory Compliance implementing compliance programs that seek to add long-term value to the organization in addition to meeting one-off regulatory requirements Acquisitions&Divestitures focusing on the critical financial, operational, and technology-related considerations of the transaction and ensuring our clients have the proper roadmap and resources to quickly and efficiently transition to a profitable future state Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Performs and leads projects across the project lifecycle from current state documentation, gap analysis, requirements gathering, future state design, and implementation across the organizational, process, technology and data dimensions Possesses understanding of key business processes (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.) and/or regulatory compliance areas (e.g. CCAR, FATCA, Dodd-Frank, Basel III, etc.) Manages projects through creating, coordinating, and maintaining an integrated project plan as well as using project management tools Defines project strategy, goals, and deliverables that support client goals Manages teams and individuals by tracking and directing performance against objectives. Ensure the project team delivers project requirements on time Develops and implement effective meeting management tools Provides project status to all stakeholders Excellent communication skills required must develop, implement, and maintain sources of project information, and communicate and distribute appropriate information to client and team members Identifies issues, risks, and project team conflicts and develops solutions for timely resolution Experience managing projects through all lifecycle phases, specifically financial systems implementation projects Oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects Serve as liaison between client, project team, development team, and other stakeholders Review status, manage schedules, monitor progress, and prepare status reports Assess project issues and develop resolutions Support CrossCountry s leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, training and organizational development 4 to 8 years of industry and/or consulting experience Big Four or equivalent (Ernst&Young, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Navigant, FTI, Accenture, IBM) consulting experience. This background is a critical differentiator among interested candidates. Experience in either finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, acquisition and divestiture implementation and/ or regulatory compliance Business acumen with a strong understanding of accounting and business processes, as well as information systems Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships Strong leadership skills with the ability to foster an environment of collaboration and excellence Effective verbal and written communication skills including comfort with executive audiences Strong networking skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to think from a big picture perspective Creativity, confidence, and flexibility High energy, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit Great sense of humor!
