This is Metso.Job posting end date:Job Description The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the global finance operations of the designated business unit. The role is responsible for providing the SVP and his/her management team with financial and business analysis to facilitate business operations and decisions. This position will pro-actively identify, take up and follow-through implementation of necessary actions related to the overall performance of the business and meeting the set targets and associated KPIs. In managing these overall tasks, the Finance Business Partner will be supported by the business unit management team and global finance organization that is structured under finance hubs located in different regions globally. Serve as financial advisor as designated, analyzing & articulating the key financial drivers (both risks & opportunities) of each business unit. Support designated Financial Business Partner in effectively communicating the company's performance, progress and prospects to management. Actively participates in BU level discussions and decision making Participates in financial and operational planning and executing BU strategy. Monitor operational financial results of the Business Units and companies and major contracts and proactively report risks and contingent liabilities. Responsible for development and maintenance of financial planning and forecasting. Assist in the development of financial policies regarding BU reporting. Coordinate and prepare the financial analysis of major projects. Financial analysis to support BU investment decisions and other business decisions. Assist in customer payment and financing solutions. Active participant in Financial Management Team, participating in setting best practices and processes with other partners. Ensures successful implementation of Metso financial policies (IFRS). Ensures BU is operating in accordance with Metso Compliance guidelines. Coordinate with Corporate Tax and Treasury Group as required. Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed. Performs other duties and/or other special projects as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration required. Masters' degree preferred. Proven previous performance in global finance and business control functions within a business organization similar to Metso.
