Claims Team LeadLocationDE - Wilmington Job Code209 # of openings1 Apply Now Claims Team Lead The Claims Team Lead will be responsible for the training of new claims employees in the call center and in claims processing. Additionally, the Team Lead will be responsible for updating and maintaining procedures pertaining to phone protocols and processing claims. The Claims Team Lead will be the go-to person for other members of the claims team to direct questions and as first line of defense for phone calls that need to be escalated. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Train claims staff as needed including monthly refresher trainings and all new claims staff both temporary and full-time Assist claims administrators by taking escalation calls prior to giving the call to manager Maintain and update process and procedures Field questions from other team members about processing claims Review and approve claims Answer phone calls pertaining to unclaimed property on a rotating schedule with the rest of the team First line of defense when manager is out of office REQUIREMENTS: A High School Diploma or GED 2-3 years of relevant work experience including call center or claims processing Strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Ability to understand and follow a written process Demonstrates strong leadership skills Maintain strong professional working relationships with colleagues at all levels Exhibits a professional and business-like demeanor Experience in unclaimed property operations is preferred Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future The rewards for this position are many.
