Senior Claims Specialist

Summary of Job: The Senior Claims Specialist will provide heroic claims service to all clients of Henderson Brothers and in particular, those clients specifically assigned to this position for claims management. The candidate in this role will be a claims resource for all internal and external customers. This position reports to the Claims Manager. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Manage 20 - 30 accounts on service plans. Execute Client Service Plans presently in place Secure loss information from clients and reporting losses to the appropriate carriers Complete WC LIBC-344 forms when needed and filing loss reports with the Bureau of Worker s Compensation Follow up with carriers to identify adjuster assigned and entering information onto insurance software system Document all conversations in claim notes on insurance software system. Scan all paper documents to the claim file Attach all e-mails on specific claims to the claim file Diary all open claims to monitor to conclusion Review monthly loss runs from carriers and updating financial data in insurance software system Prepare monthly reports summarizing client claim activity. Prepare Presentation Booklets for Claim Reviews to include spreadsheets and Claim Status Reports. Meet with clients as needed to conduct Claim Reviews. All other duties as assigned
