Carrier Validation Specialist

As a Carrier Validation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring medical claims are processed in a timely manner by researching and identifying the claim submission processes for insurance carriers. What you will do: * Application of appropriate insurance carrier set up to ensure that claims will get to the carrier and be processed in a timely manner * Utilization of clearinghouses payer lists so that the claims for the carriers can be set up for electronic submission * Utilization of USPS & Business White Pages web sites, Ingenix carrier address, spreadsheets and Google searches for address and carrier verifications * Keeping carrier validations current on separate billing servers * Complete all other duties as assigned What you will bring to Zotec: * Experience with electronic and paper claims required * High school diploma or equivalent required * Ability to work under deadlines and in high volume-stress conditions * Proficient MS Office skills * Knowledge and understanding of medical billing highly preferred * Excellent written communications and organizational skills * Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Flexible mentality; willing and capable of performing varied tasks and adapting to change * Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently while prioritizing your workload At Zotec, you will enjoy a network of highly experienced professionals in an environment where you can operate with autonomy yet have the resources and backing of other professionals in a similar role.
