Quality Assurance Reviewer - Loss Control Surveys

Lowry & Associates, Inc. (LAI) was formed in 1989 and is headquartered in Draper, Utah. We offer a full range of insurance services that include: auditing, underwriting surveys and appraisals. We have a passionate and knowledgeable management team and field personnel team who collectively have more than 300 years of experience in the insurance auditing and survey field. We pride ourselves as being members of the National Association of Independent Insurance Auditors and Engineers.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Reviewer for Loss Control Surveys. This person will contribute to the success of the Loss Control department by ensuring quality and consistency on all survey work.

Specific Work Experience:

• Previous experience as a Reviewer of Loss Control Surveys is preferred.
• Over three years of experience as a Loss Control Surveyor.
• Remains informed of changes and current information relative to individual loss control inspections.
• Experience with Loss Control Inspection software is preferred. We currently use AuSuM Systems as our method for writing up reports.
• Experience with commercial and residential building valuation software is preferred (MSB, CoreLogic, e2value, etc.)
• Knowledge if ISO construction classes.

• Superior organizational, time management and computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present to both technical and non-technical audiences; interacts tactfully and effectively in difficult situations.
• Represents the company in a positive and professional manner at all times.

Other:

• Home office set up already in place (office equipment, private space), computer will be provided.
• Ability to sit and work on the computer for long periods of time.
