OverviewThe HR & Financial Application Specialist provides technical, analytical, system development, and system maintenance support for Workday and related systems. --The function plays a lead role in enabling thoughtful processes and solutions that drive efficiency, reduce the cost of operations and mitigate operational risk.-- This position participates in all phases of the HR & Financial software implementation process including requirements gathering and analysis, functional and technical design, report writing, testing, deployment, and post implementation support. This role is technical in nature and requires Workday product knowledge, hands-on implementation and post-production support experience. --The HR & Financial Systems Specialist will partner closely with our business organizations to turn business needs into high quality, scalable, secure systems to support Raising Cane---s dynamic growth.Responsibilities Serve as a Workday product specialist, building upon and maintaining professional relationships with key colleagues & vendors to ensure that the services and solutions provided exceed current and future needs. Work closely with business partners to understand business requirements, analysis, proof of concept, configuration, test, deploy, and develop user necessary documentation. Provide production support for Workday including, but not limited to researching and resolving problems, unexpected results and/or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, recommended solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Drive the design, development, testing and deployment of new integrations and maintain existing integrations using workday integration tools: Studio, Core Connectors, Document transformation, etc. Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain, Workday Dashboards, worklets, advanced and shared reports using Workday delivered tools. Participate in Workday major releases, identifying impact / enhancement opportunities associated with a new release features/functionality. Support regression testing and communication of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced.-- Provide support to end-users of the workday platform, answering questions, resolving issues, and following through on any reported or unresolved issues ensuring timely and reliable response. Collaborate with IT peers and business partners to ensure a consistent focus on production support, service requests, and roadmap initiatives to ensure a balanced delivery of service and solutions aligned with business objectives. Leverage business knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for process improvements. Actively participate in Workday Community and Regional User Groups (RUG) Proactively research and implement courses of action to prevent system/security problems and maintain compliance. Communicate project status to Raising Cane---s IT LeadershipQualifications Requires technical and functional experience with Workday, either from working on an implementation team or from being a member of an existing Workday Service Center Technical knowledge of Enterprise Interface Builder, Workday Report writer, Workday EIB, custom and calculated fields-- Proven integration design experience using Workday integration tools: Studio, BIRT, Core Connectors, Document transformation, etc.-- EDI, Web Services, SML, XSLT, Java, .Net or other integration technologies Solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture Concepts-- Experience researching, communicating and deploying semi-annual Workday release upgrades-- Proven experience of eliciting and elaborating business requirements, drafting system design specifications, and developing technical solutions Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to follow and implement a project schedule, have a continuous improvement mindset, and be capable of handling multiple priorities concurrently.-- Develop clear, effective, and business-user-oriented written documentation-- Have solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Speak clearly and listen actively and effectively, including the ability to explain complex ideas to others with varying levels of expertise both inside of and outside of the organization. Strong situational analysis and decision making abilities BA or BS required, preferably in Computer Science, Business, or Technology discipline Minimum six (6) years of IT / or direct business experience managing technical projects. Minimum three (3) years practical Workday experience Minimum three (3) years of experience integrating systems with third-party service vendors Restaurant and/or retail IT experience is preferred
