Job DescriptionPosition: Financial Services ConsultantReports To: General ManagerLocation: Royal Palm Mazda Summary: The Financial Services Consultant is responsible for producing additional revenue for the dealership by selling finance, lease, insurance, and warranty programs as well as vehicle accessories to customers.Qualifications:High school diploma or the equivalent. College degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years in a dealership sales capacity with 2 years in a finance position required.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Essential Duties (include the following. Other Duties may be assigned):Generate additional dealership revenue by providing customers with a thorough explanation of financing and products by selling; extended warranty, credit life, accident and health insurance, and after sale items.Understand, stay aware of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect new-used vehicle and finance departments.Adhere to all Safeguarding, Red Flag, and 8300 procedures and policies.Submit all completed paperwork, including contracts, to a lending institution in a timely manner in order that the dealership is promptly funded.Establish and maintain good working relationships with several finance sources, factory and otherwise.Maintain a readily accessible folder of finance and lease rates and special factory programs.Handle all rate quotations.Convert cash deals to finance.Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.Maintain a minimum customer satisfaction standard equal to or above the manufacturer expected average.Follow the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct.Maintains a professional clean and pressed business appearance as determined by dealership management.Company DescriptionThe Penske Automotive Group is one of Americas' leading automotive retailers and a Fortune 500 company.
