Position Highlights: Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Planning, the Financial Analyst supports the needs of the department by performing various financial or budget analyses, preparing standard and/or ad hoc reports, and providing other support for departmental processes such as long-term planning, financial re-forecasting, interim capital reporting, and revenue/expense variance analyses. Position Responsibilities: Assists with developing the annual operating and capital budgets.Prepares intra-year financial re-projections and final reporting related. Works with operating areas to identify and model assumption changes to the annual update of the long-term capital and financial plans. Responsible for maintaining systems and applications needed to support the department processes.Performs ROI analysis on physician recruitment and capital investments.Assists in preparing board material and presentations.Prepares status reports for key users providing meaningful information on projects and budget variances.Performs post implementation review of project investments.Provides support to the Certificate Of Need process.Participates in the design and implementation of new or revised computer systems.Enhances existing financial analyses including complex spreadsheet calculations to provide strengthened monthly financial review and reporting processes.Works with others throughout the organization (including all levels of management) to answer inquiries, provide information, assist with financial improvement action plans, and complete various financial analysis projects.Position Qualifications Include:A Bachelor's degree is required, a degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. A minimum of 1 to 3 years of financial analysis, budgeting, or planning experience?? Experience using finance, budget, strategic planning, business intelligence, and/or decision support tools preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel is required Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects. Ability to prepare clearly written reports.Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.Positive interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees.
