Job DescriptionNew Horizons, a nonprofit serving special needs adults in the San Fernando Valley for more than 60 years, seeks a self-starter to be QIDP ADMINISTRATOR - AGING SPECIALIST for our Residential group homes.In collaboration with the Director of Residential Services, oversees the management and the coordination of the operations of the ICF-DDH and/or DDN homes within the Residential Program. Must have experience working with title 17 and 22 along with ICF intermediate home experience.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operations of the ICF-DDH/N facilities and programs. Oversee resident affairs, which include but are not limited to, placement/termination, behavior intervention, skills training, financial resources, health maintenance, day programs, respite services, and recreational activities. Coordinate with the Counseling Department, Regional Center, resident family, ICF-DDH professional, IPS/T, and direct care staff for effective resident supervision, active treatment, habilitation, health maintenance and evaluation. Performs other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS: Dementia/Alzheimer's experience preferred. Bachelors degree in Human Services field with experience. At least 2 years Management/Supervisory experience. At least 2 years working with the developmentally disabled.OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have valid California Driver License and driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier. Legally driving for at least 3 years in the United States.
