Job DescriptionSchool-Based Medicaid SpecialistNew England Medical Billing - South Easton, MA 02375New England Medical Billing South Easton, MAUnder the supervision of the Billing Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to coordinate, review, and process all data related to the School-Based Medicaid program.Job Responsibilities: Coordinate data exchange with client schools' Special Education departments Review appropriate data for use in the Medicaid claiming system Tracks and regularly monitors Medicaid eligibility for Special Education (SPED) students receiving billable services Tracks parental permission for each Medicaid eligible SPED student billable service Daily communication with school personnel for follow-up required data items Maintains all student data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information for daily updates Compares student enrollment data for statistical requirements Prepares data for claim submission Assists in desk audits of data elements for direct service and administrative claiming programs Perform other related duties as requiredQualifications: Excel experience Medical billing experience Special Education knowledge Excellent oral and written communications skills Ability to work under strict deadlinesJob Type: Full-timeNew England Medical Billing offers 401k Plan, Health/Life Insurance, accrued time off, parking and other benefits.
