Senior Actuarial Analyst

Job duties include but are not limited to the following: * Support and analyze activities related to Medicare, Individual, Group and all lines of business * Maintenance and improvement of Actuarial analyses such as trend setting, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting * Rate analysis and development * Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant * Forecast/variance analysis and reporting * Product development support * Segmentation support Job Requirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Math/Statistics or related degree * 2 or more years of successful, progressive professional actuarial experience * Completion of 3 or more examinations from the Society of Actuaries * Experience communicating and presenting detailed business and financial information Business Specific Criteria (Preferred Skills): * Extensive knowledge of Medicare * Background in health field or insurance field * SAS and/or SQL experience * Familiarity with programming languages * PC software (spreadsheets, graphics, word processors) * Support and analyze activities related to Medicare, Individual, Group and all lines of business * Maintenance and improvement of Actuarial analyses such as trend setting, gross margin reporting, and financial forecasting * Rate analysis and development * Actuarial representation on cross-functional workgroups as an active participant * Forecast/variance analysis and reporting * Product development support * Segmentation support
