This member facing position s primary goal is to deepen and manage member relationships.Essential Job FunctionsFacilitate new loan application process and communicate lending decisionOpen new member accountsPerform account maintenance on existing member accountsIdentify member financial needs and present all appropriate options by working with appropriate business partners (underwriters, lending sales specialists, etc.)Respond to member inquiries and concerns; take ownership of member concerns and provide prompt follow-up/resolutionRecognize and refer cross-sell opportunitiesPerform a variety of financial transactions and maintenance including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments for all account typesAbility to independently analyze, research and resolve medium to high complexity problems.Work independently to resolve problemsMaintain knowledge of credit union products, services, policies and procedures and communicate them effectivelyEngage members in the lobby to assist, educate and train members on how to use lobby technologyShare the features and benefits of Credit Union products and servicesHelp maintain and foster a positive and fun working environmentServe as resource or Subject Matter Expert for teamMay train other Personal Financial RepresentativesPerform other duties as assignedQualification Required5+ years of experience in banking/lending with increasing levels of responsibilityProven ability to establish credibility and rapport, friendly and personable and look for ways to benefit the member s financial relationship in personComfortable asking questions/interviewing members about their financial situation; strong listening skillsAdvance knowledge of features and benefits of credit union products and servicesProven ability to multi-task, handle a wide range of assignments, and work with a sense of urgencyA strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbersIntermediate to advanced knowledge regulatory rules and credit union policiesProven proficiency with MS Office SuitesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsQualifications DesiredCollege/University degreeWorking ConditionsThis job requires the ability to use desktop computers, ability to work in a structured environment for long periods of time.Our employees enjoy many benefits:Competitive salary200% match on your 401(k) up to 6% of your payGenerous medical, dental, disability and life insurance plansTuition ReimbursementFree Parking or Free Orca Bus PassA friendly, professional work environmentThe opportunity to work at a place of integrity, where member service is emphasizedEmployment for this role is contingent on background, credit, and reference checks.Equal Opportunity Employer
