Responsibilities: Lead the delivery function of our emerging data management practice Recruit and develop top-end talent for the practice Deliver high-visibility Data Management transformation projects for top insurers, banks and financial institutions Evangelize our practice to Verisk account teams and clients and support the development of new opportunities Design, develop and deliver data management solutions such data warehouses, analytics data stores, reporting and BI solutions, advanced analytics platforms Work closely with BI technology vendors for any need arising due to production support, product upgrades, or development. Requirements: 15 years experience in architecting, developing and delivery of analytics data warehouses using technologies like MS SQL, Appliances (e.g. Netezza), Oracle data warehousing, BI tools (MicroStrategy, Spotfire, Tableau) and big data technologies Passion for hands-on delivery and program management Thorough understanding of data warehouse architectures and data models for Insurance and financial services companies Knowledge of at least one functional area relevant to these clients customer service, sales and marketing, risk management, actuarial, claims Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong leadership, organizational and prioritization skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal We are offering an excellent compensation package.
