Role Summary This role is responsible for supporting the budget management processesof Audi of America (AoA). This includessupporting both the AoA Finance department as well as all business ownersacross AoA. Primary activities includenegotiating budgets at the department/project level and driving a high servicelevel throughout AoA in the areas of purchasing process, contract management,corporate vehicle requests, and budget management. Role Responsibilities Assisting in the overall budgeting and forecasting process, ensuringappropriate commitment controls, four-eye-principles,&early warningprocesses Development and distribution of budget management templates Preparation and distribution of monthly budget reports Fulfillment of VWGoA Finance reporting requirements Assisting in consolidation of the corporate planning round budgets (5year business plans) Development and distribution of annual templates Preparation of calendarized budget detail for executive review Preparation and submission of monthly correcting journal entries Support the review and audit of brand cost general ledger accounts andassociated accruals Review and execute inter-company chargeback requests within other Audi/ VW Group companies Financial leader of the AoA purchasing process Support review of all financial commitments submitted as: e-SAF's (electronic spend approval forms) Payment requests Vehicle PAR's (project appropriation requests) Capital PAR's (project appropriation requests) Contract requests Debit Card requests Chargeback requests Support Audi of America CFO and AoA management team on strategic and operationalprojects as required Work Flexibility Occasional travel to other corporate offices (Auburn Hills, MI / Ajax,ON / region offices) Willingness to work beyond a typical workday occasionallyto support month end / year end requirements Experience 5-7 years of relevant experience Skills Analytical expertise and conceptual thinking using logic and reason,creative and strategic Communication skills interpersonal, presentation and written Computer savvy skilled in the use of software Integration joining people, processes, and systems Influencing and negotiation skills Problem solving Resource management Process Focused Policy definition and implementation Required Specialized Skills Microsoft Excel&PowerPoint efficiency Experience in budget management / controlling Process optimization Desired Specialized Skills Experience in automotive industry Experience in a business function Required Education Bachelor s degree in Business, or in related field of study We are proud to be an EEOemployer M/F/D/V.
