What you will do: Maintain Client Activity Master Calendar Provide administrative services to an assigned roster of clients. Maintain a thorough understanding of a wide variety of activities associated with administering nonqualified benefit plans and underlying financing utilizing life insurance and other assets. Track and update master workflow calendar (will vary according to client). Interact with clients and participants on a routine basis, including fielding client/participant requests and inquiries. Audit and import payroll data from clients, update plan crediting rate data, coordinate and administer online benefit plan enrollments, and update database for participant and plan changes. Benefit and Life Insurance Reports Prepare and audit participant benefit statements, and corporate benefit liability, FICA tax, proxy disclosure, imputed income, compliance, cash value, and trust reconciliation reports based on established standards and within compliance guidelines. Monitor and prepare billing and invoice statements as required. Complete all forms required for policy administration, including fund rebalancing, surrenders, face amount changes, and death claims. Technical Expertise Effectively respond to client questions on benefit and life insurance issues, concepts and data. Ability to understand M Benefit Solutions plan design approach and our position on benefits and insurance related topics. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned client plans and procedures and deliver the best administrative service. What you will bring: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, General Business or related field. Minimum of two to four years of related experience in financing, accounting, insurance or employee benefits. Desire to become proficient in the subject matter. Ability to proactively manage complex, conflicting priorities under pressure and in a time sensitive manner. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with M Financial Group staff, Member Firms and other Joint Venture Partners, Carriers and vendors. Excellent customer service skills and experience Ability to deal with changing requirements/priorities, provide follow through, and manage multiple projects. Ability to maintain sensitivity and awareness of confidentiality, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Ability to work effectively independently and as a member of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well-developed computer skills including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and familiarity with Access. Insurance license and/or Series 6 license required (any licenses not currently held will need to be obtained within twelve (12) months of employment).
