OverviewOur growing company is currently seeking a Credit Collections Coordinator to join our Finance team in our corporate office in Norwalk, CT. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, fast-growing public company with a great team! The Credit Collections Coordinator will work directly with the Credit Collections Manager to ensure that the credit decisions and collection calls are made in a timely manner. ResponsibilitiesRespond to all credit and collection in-box inquiries. Respond to all purchases in-box inquires. Respond to all accounting in-box inquiries for Texas. Pull Paymentech reports. Dispute credit card charge-backs as required. Dispute and apply fee NSF checks as required. Provide validation to agency for daily inquires w/in 15 days. Pull and respond to pledges and 12 month histories. Create and manage collection lists. Create collection letters for billing. Create all letters of Credit from SharePoint template. Follow up with deposit demand letters, and deposit refunds. Create weekly Cisco reports for collections. Perform weekly adjustments to accounts as payments are made to accounts. Follow up on all dispute letters for credit. Follow up on all Bankruptcy letters thru PACER system and adjust accounts as needed. Follow up on all Fraud accounts and adjust accounts as needed. Handle the occasional elevated call. Generate ad-hoc reporting as needed. QualificationsBachelor s Degree. 2 plus years credit and/or collections experience. Able to review credit bureaus and certification for credit review with the sales team. Familiar with Bankruptcy and Judgements. Understands FDCPA, FCRA, UDAAP, and CFPB requirements. High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong interpersonal skills. Outstanding customer service skills. Strong negotiating skills. Eligible to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g. H-1B visa status)
