Claims Associate

Tampa-based mutual property and casualty insurance company is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Claims Associate.  The Claims Associate is responsible for supporting claims operations and, more specifically, providing support to the Claims Department in the administration of claim notices, establishment and management of claim reserves, investigation and resolution of claims, and reporting of claims to EIM reinsurers.  Educational and professional experience requirements as follows:  B.A. or B.S. Degree; 1 to 3 years of property and/or casualty commercial claims handling experience; strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated customer focus and ability to work collaboratively with others; and proficiency in information technology including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
