Job Description SummaryInternal client management. Directs or conducts the delivery of services to plan sponsors, producers, and Third Party Administrators, record keeping and operations staff.Job DescriptionClient Management (75%) Manages an assigned book of business. Primarily responsible for asset retention and client satisfaction within assigned book of business. Responsible for managing client relationships through required proactive phone and email contact. Take an active role in creating an environment of innovation, collaboration, transparency, accountability, and trust. Conducts required number of proactive annual plan reviews, investment reviews, and service conference calls with clients and financial advisors, completing all required documentation recording such activities. Manages work flow queues to ensure client and business drivers based service standards are met. Owns the client relationship for TRS small plan clients. Consults with clients and financial advisors. Consults with clients and financial advisors on plan design issues. Interprets and explains plan provisions. Recommends alternative plan design provisions to accomplish clients'goals. Interpretation of discrimination testing rules and results. Consultation on solutions to failed testing. Consultation with clients on plan options following company mergers, plan enhancements or upgrades including conversions of older investment contracts to the latest products and services. Consults with clients on plan termination and contract termination issues and available options with clients upon terminating a plan and contract. Serves as a contact person for the client during the plan termination process. General Customer Service and Training (25%) Supports field service team in managing the day-to-day relationship of the small to large plan client relationships. Acts as liaison between plan sponsor/financial advisors and TRS specialists groups (operational areas). Holds accountable to daily, weekly and monthly performance standards. Coordinating with Third Party Administrators on our product and procedures. Acts as centralized knowledge base for operations, field service and sales. Trains client and financial advisors on administrative tools available through our plan sponsor web site (enrollment kit solutions and plan administration tracking). Licensing and commission issues. Explain commission options to agents. Qualifications Four years retirement industry experience. A thorough working knowledge of ERISA (from the client/plan sponsor perspective). A thorough working knowledge of investments. Preferred Qualifications Two years client servicing experience. Four year college degree or comparable experience. Designations with ASPPA or NIPA. Behavioral Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Proven ability to effectively manage client relationships. Proven ability to effectively manage workflow. Proven ability to handle a large volume of technically complex daily inquiries (primarily phone calls and emails). Proven ability to work in a team environment. Proven ability to communicate technically complex subject matter. Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicants qualifications including the extent of his/her relevant experience and other job related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
