Begin today by reviewing our career opportunities and applying online. Responsible for providing on site leadership and supervision of 3/11 ED registration staff. Audit registration documents and required regulatory documents on a daily basis. Review WQs as assigned by Director. Prepare bi-weekly shift coverage for adequate coverage. Assign work stations to staff on a weekly basis and make adjustments as patient and clinical team needs require. Team Leaders is productive and expected to assist as needed covering work stations and accurately registering patients. Minimum of every 3rd weekend, to provide support to all Team Leads and ED registration staff. 40 hours - Emergency Room Evening Shift - 8 hours 3:00pm to 11:00pm AA degree or High School Diploma and four years patient registration experience. Business or office supervisory experience required. Four years patient registration experience is preferred with strong computer skills with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Possible exposure to communicable diseases and hazardous materials with little likelihood of harm if established health precautions are followed. This position interviews patient or family to obtain demographical and financial/insurance information. Data is entered into the Epic system. Individual will scan insurance cards and documents, complete admissions, verify insurance, call payers for authorization and entering data into registration system.
