This Houston agency has expanded into a new vertical: transportation. The agency needs to hire a marketing expert who speaks the lingo. They’ve already written short and long haul trucking companies, fuel haulers and delivery services fleets. They need your commercial auto underwriting and marketing background to:

• Arm the producers with information to compete during the bidding process
• Walk alongside account managers on renewals intricacies
• Negotiate with underwriting contacts to strategically place business and creatively put packages/programs together

Marketing Responsibilities Include pre-underwriting commercial property, casualty and worker’s compensation accounts; compile submissions and procure information necessary to expedite quotes; negotiate coverage and pricing with underwriters; re-market business through carrier and wholesale brokers as needed.

Requirements as Commercial Insurance Transportation Marketer Include:

• At least 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience heavily involved in placement of business and pricing negotiations. 
• Program, coverage and underwriting expertise working with commercial transportation/trucking accounts (auto liability, physical damage and cargo).
• Underwriter, Account Executive or Wholesale Broker experience
