Insurance Loss Control Manager - Upstate New York

Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking a Loss Control Manager in their Upstate New York operation.  You will manage a staff of loss control specialists and working a Tri-State territory.  Candidates will be responsible for overseeing consultative safety and loss control services for a wide variety of commercial multiline risks. 

​Other duties include:

• Review safety surveys, safety audits, and reports of loss control specialists
• Conduct classroom and hands on training of new and existing personnel 
• Promote training programs relating to ongoing needs of insureds
• Provide technical and operational expertise for the implementation of Loss Control policies, procedures and programs
• Provide input to regional management covering key business areas including strategy and planning, business process, performance management, expense management, and training and development of loss control personnel. 

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a commercial lines multiline loss control representative in a Property and Casualty Insurance carrier
• 3+ years of supervisory / management experience
• 4-year college degree is highly preferred
• CSP or CSM certification is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Good oral and written communications skills
