As an Account Assistant, you will be responsible for documentation, record keeping, and meeting quality standards. You will work in a fast-paced environment with the Sales team, as an integral part of designing individual client/prospect insurance programs. You'll learn how our range of product offerings can help our clients grow their businesses and improve their personal financial security.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as customer service liaison to clients and Alper Financial Services Team
- Collect underwriting information
- Evaluate insurance policies for performance reviews
- Work with team on selection of potential markets
- Work with team to develop and deliver insurance programs
- Contact prospects to assist in sales process and service
- Stay informed of all service issues and assist with resolution of issues when required.
- Participate in renewals by reviewing expiration listing with team to determine appropriate action and collection of information to prepare renewal submissions
- Attend continuing education and training opportunities as required
- Compliance with SmartOffice and K Drive filing procedures
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred
- Current Illinois Life & Health Broker's License preferred
- Minimum 3 years' Life Insurance & Financial Services brokerage experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Proven track record of high productivity
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task, shift priorities, and meet deadlines
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical and personal data
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
