Nurse Services Manager - San Diego, CA
Job Summary:
Manage and provide leadership to the Medical Management Nurse team. Ensuring A Highly Productive, Cost Effective Unit; Ensure The Nurse Care Unit Meets Department Goals and Objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Departmental Policies And Procedures
- Develops, Creates And maintains Current Manuals And Other Reference Material Ensuring Compliance With Current Guidelines
- Assign And Monitors Workflow For Unit Ensuring Processes Are Accurate And Timely, Ensuring Unit Is Highly Productive And Cost Effective
- Manages Departmental Expenses Ensuring Costs Are Within Budgeted Guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Experience in Workers Compensation Nurse Case Management
- Experience in Workers Compensation Utilization Review
- Familiar with URAC
- Experience utilizing the MTUS Guidelines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
