The Technical Analyst works with the Business Analysts to build out insurance products for our websites including quote and enrollment tools. This position would gather forms and business requirements to effectively build out new products and maintain existing products. They will also create test scenarios to for testing website builds.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gather supporting documentation, forms and business requirements needed for specific projects.

  • Review business requirements and forms for missing and incorrect information.

  • Creation of forms to support development of quoting and enrollment tools.

  • Loading of forms in the document administration tool.

  • Build out enrollment questions, business rules, disclaimers and other information in enrollment administration tool.

  • Work closely with manager and effectively communicate updates and edits to documentation with Web Developers, Software Manager and Business Analyst.   

  • Write test plans and test scenarios for testing of website builds.

  • Creates scenario-based testing from the perspective of various client roles.

  • Verify and validate website new functionality and defect fixes.  

  • Works with stakeholders to prioritize test activities.  

  • Provide communications on testing status to the team

  • Keep management informed of special needs or problems.  

  • Provide technical support for problems and issues identified for online quoting and enrollment tools. Research issues and report the resolution to management.


REQUIREMENTS  


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in health insurance industry.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro – advanced level
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Extreme attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent testing, communication and information gathering skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work with very little supervision
  • Experience with testing applications, websites or other web based applications - preferred
  • Desire to learn about the technologies, methodologies and continue to expand skills and knowledge
