Posted On02/03/2017 Client Executive Waukesha, Waukesha, WI, US Salary Range : Worker Category :Active - Regular full-time Job Class JOB TITLE:Client Executive REPORTS TO: Director of Operations EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Exempt DIVISION:Horton Benefit Solutions GENERAL DESCRIPTIONSummary The Client Executiveis responsible for independently providing customized, high level services tolarge group and complex benefit solutions prospects and clients. Instrumental in the acquisition of newclients and ultimately accountable for the retention of all assignedaccounts. Specific responsibilitiesinclude identifying client needs, developing strategy, recommending solutions,plan design including alternatives, and development and execution of serviceplan. Program and service plan progressis measured and shared with client through annual stewardship reporting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude thefollowing. Other duties may be assigned. Establish relationships with assigned clients and assumethe primary responsibility for client service and retention. Provide customized benefit solutions to prospects andclients that meet their needs and budget constraints including an analysis ofthe risk, gathering required census information and the preparation of a plandesign strategy which may include combinations of fully funded, partiallyfunded or self-funded plans. Present customized benefit solutions to prospects andclients including explanation of compliance requirements, analysis of theirrisk including forecasting, trending, claims experience and other applicabledata analytics and effectively communicating the Horton value proposition. Prepare, deliver, and execute customized serviceschedules, including risk analysis, rate and claim analysis, and stewardshipreporting at inception, renewal and midterm touchpoints. Coordinate with team manager, all service team needs toensure items are complete and tasks are performed with quality and withinrequired deliverable dates. Coordinate internal and external resources includingproducer involvement, legal assistance, technology, claims, and wellness. Attend client meetings with carrierrepresentatives as applicable or as needed. Accompany producer on and independently conduct periodiccoverage reviews with clients and prospects. Develop strategy and special handling instructions withcarrier regarding claims and wellness services based on client needs andexpectations. Initiate and ensure execution of the marketing processincluding contribution to the marketing strategy, fielding underwriting questions,negotiating rates and coverages and presenting findings to client. Participate in the analysis and comparison ofrates/alternatives leading to the selection of those best meeting the needs ofprospects and clients. Design and oversee the preparation of presentations toclients to ensure the final product is impressive, polished and comprehensivein scope, representing all that is exceptional at Horton. Responsible for understanding, strategicallycommunicating to and educating the clients on ACA Reporting, COBRA, DOL Audits,ERISA, FMLA, and HIPAA. Meet or exceed all goals, especially those related tocustomized service schedules, client satisfaction, book growth and retention. Perform other duties as requested, including exercisingdiscretion and judgment in prioritizing workload.
