Service personal lines product lines and handle varioustypes of customer service matters. Implements and performs according to TDECU R.E.A.L. standards. CAREER OPPORTUNITY Your Responsibilities Owns the relationship and provides timely follow upvia phone or email to respond to member s concerns or issues. Successfullymaintains the relationship through professional, personal communication. Serviceand renew existing business in accordance with organization policy, procedures andcultural expectations. Sell new business in accordance with applicable stateinsurance regulations for all current and future product lines. Developand deliver mid-term reviews for assigned accounts. Meetagency standards for work flows and assigned work within the agency managementsoftware tools utilized including AMS (agency management system), online ratingand marketing tools. Processand/or issue various insurance related documents to include product line changerequests, insurance claims, binders, certificates and applications. Gatherunderwriting information as required and maintain regular communication withthe client, fellow team members and/or insurance company. Performvarious administrative duties which most commonly include greeting anddirecting Members in person, via e-mail and on the phone, inputting appropriateinformation into computer management system, and maintaining appropriatewritten and verbal communication with Members and the insurance companies. AddressMember questions, concerns, and issues requiring minimal guidance in resolvingcommon to moderately complex situations. Ensure complex issues are forwarded tothe appropriate authority for resolution Explain,promote and/or sell products or services and actively pursue referralopportunities for the agency as well as the greater TDECU organization Provides REAL legendary service to team and internalcustomers through genuine care and compassion. Initiates action to help the team achieve member center goals inproduction and member satisfaction. Completes allmandatory compliance testing within designated time frame and other complianceassignments including Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Unusual ActivityReports (UAR), and Security processes. Implements processes as required by the Bank Secrecy Act and TDECU policies and procedures including but not limited to completing and submitting Currency Transaction Reports, being knowledgeable of signs of unusual financial activities, and reporting signs of unusual activity and/or completing reporting for Suspicious Activity Report as appropriate per procedure. Stays abreast of changes within the credit union relating to services and procedures. Completes required state licensing continuing education requirements to be compliant with State of Texas. Allother duties as assigned. Essential Education and Experience Essentialeducation:Specializedtraining, two year degree, technical or vocational certification or anequivalent mix of education and experience is required. Essential experience:Requires generallines of property and casualty, life, health and insurance servicerepresentative licenses. This position requires up to two years of industryexperience in sales and delivery. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Combination of education and experience which enables the incumbent to be successful in the job generally acquired through the attainment of a high school diploma and two years of related experience. (preferred 4 year degree and/or two prior years insurance experience). Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to calculate discounts, interest and percentages. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrated ability to write routine correspondence. Demonstratedability to interact constructively and effectively with all constituencies. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with Members and small groups of employees. Demonstrated ability to operate standard office equipment such as a computer and adding machine.
