This role will compliment a small, fast-paced environment and will be a key player in ensuring consistent delivery of training programs and initiatives in support of the overall objectives of the company.POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Trainer works with leadership to design, develop, deliver and manage training programs for all business units within Team Focus Insurance Group. The Senior Trainer conducts needs assessments, executes training, tracks and evaluates outcomes of training programs to support the needs of the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:Design, deliver and improve training programs as well as ongoing learning opportunities across the organization, in support of the organization s needs.Utilize a variety of the training methodologies, including classroom, web based, job aids, e-learning, training guides and databases to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.Conduct specific training needs assessments to support the design, development and delivery of corporate training programs and strategies.Monitor and measure and report on the effectiveness of all training programs.Partner with individual departments to outline deliverables, expectations and risks, to include specific training needs for staff.Proactively work with the Management team to identify and resolve issues.Keeps current on new training methods and trends that result in improved performance.Establishes and maintains effective professional working relationships with co-workers, every level of management, vendors, and service providers.CANDIDATE SKILLS:Exceptional listening, organizational, planning, problem resolution, presentation, facilitation and influencing skills required.Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment and effectively communicate with peers and management.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Create and maintain a professional learning environment.Must be a leader that sets the standard and expectations through example in his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity and character.Must be dependable, reliable and punctual.Strong customer service-oriented approach, yet be able to articulate and suggest other potential pathways of accomplishing objectives - never be afraid to ask, what if .Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, juggle multiple priorities and function in a flexible environment. Must be flexible and have the ability to work under tight deadlines and be able to deliver completed work on time and with accuracy.CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor s degree with an emphasis in Training&Development, Business or related field required; professional certification highly preferred.5+ years of progressive Training&Development experience required.Proven ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate training curricula in a corporate training environment.Familiarity with a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures including web based and e-learning.Demonstrated experience working with LMS applications.Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including PowerPoint required.Must possess an active 2-20 or 4-40 license or the ability to obtain one within the time frame established by the company.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support our office location in Sarasota, Florida and client sites.
