Licensed homeowner’s insurance specialist to prepare and present new business premium quotes and provide service to prospects calling into the new business quote line. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manage incoming calls to the new business quote line
  • Provide detailed information regarding policies and coverage
  • Respond to customer inquiries over the phone in a positive and professional manner
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Florida homeowner’s insurance coverage and exposure
  • Qualify prospects and provide accurate rate quotes in a timely manner
  • Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the work to prevent errors and omissions
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks with positivity and enthusiasm
  • Perform some aspects of quality control for the customer service call center, record outcomes in the appropriate database
  • Assist with special projects and other customer service related activities as needed
  • Other administrative duties as may be required 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma required, some college preferred
  • Florida Department of Professional Regulation 440 License to service property insurance; 220 License preferred
  • At least 2 years’ customer service experience in the insurance field; a focus on homeowners insurance in Florida preferred

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Project a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
