Job DescriptionJOB DESCRIPTION It is the responsibility of the Insurance Administrator to assist the CAO and CPA in all tasks and projects regarding company insurance, including General Liability, Umbrella/Excess, Worker s Compensation, EPLI, etc. Seeking a career minded individual that can manage insurance accounts as the company acquires them. Must be a self-motivated, task oriented, driven individual with the desire to excel and be an integral part of our company. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, negotiate, place, and manage Company s insurance programs with the assistance of the insurance broker. Prepare renewal applications for selected insurance programs with the assistance of the insurance broker. Review all insurance policies for sufficiency of coverage and prepare summaries to be maintained for use by the insurance, legal, and finance departments. Manage insurance activities ensuring that there are no lapses in policies. Must maintain the relationship with insurance broker. Assist Legal Group in contract administration with review of legal agreements to identify, evaluate and provide recommendations on insurance and risk related issues. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned within the physical constraints of the job. Review subcontractor Certificates of Insurance, declarations pages, and policies to ensure compliance with client and company insurance requirements SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 5-10 years of experience working with insurance related field Ability to operate as a self-motivated and result-driven problem solver Analytical and communication skills, including writing and presentation skills Ability to understand management objectives, risk appetite and tolerances and impact of changes to risk profiles Proven ability to work collaboratively both cross-functionally and vertically within an organization Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The physical ability to immediately respond to emergency situations.
