Whether a traditional funeral service or a completely individualized ceremony is chosen, our goal is to accommodate those we serve and be a professional guide and provide support throughout the service selected. Forest Lawn s dedicated Funeral Service Department is seeking a friendly individual with a professional demeanor to become a part of the team, which has the privilege of having daily face-to-face contact with the families we serve. Our Service Assistants assist families during the funeral service, by providing exceptional service at all steps of the service. Responsibilities include; Respectfully ushering families and attendees to chapel Distributing memory folders Assist with casket bearing Transporting and setting up flower Arrangements Directing traffic to proper parking areas Assist with community or special events Drive company service vehicles If you enjoy meeting people from all walks of life, helping those in a time of need, and offering professional service outside of a traditional office environment, this is a great opportunity to do so and learn all about this industry from the best. Requirements: Must have a caring and professional demeanor and enjoy helping families at a difficult time. Strong Customer Service experience. Valid California Driver s License. Ability to lift 100lbs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
