We’re Colorado Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company (CFBMIC) and we’re looking for an Every Day Hero based in our Centennial, CO office as a Roving Field Claims Adjuster. In times of chaos and loss our insureds count on our Adjusters to save the day; Investigating & settling property and casualty claims varying from auto fender benders to structural storm, or fire damage. Our Roving Adjuster also comes to the rescue of their fellow adjusters across Colorado in times of seasonal high claims and acts of nature.

What you’ll need to have:

• Clean driving record (no DUI’s / minimal points off)
• Strong desire to grow with an organization where you will have a long-term career
• Flexibility to travel for a day or even a week across the state of Colorado
• Four-year college degree preferred or comparable direct P&C adjusting experience

What you’ll do:

• Investigate and process a wide variety of auto and property insurance claims filed by policy holders
• Handle a wide variety of claims:

• damage to automobiles, homes, buildings and other structures
•  liability claims involving personal injuries
•  third party claims from liability situations such as motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, animal bites, or alleged negligent behavior

• Inspect property to determine extent of damages, liability, and policy coverage particulars
• Gather information regarding claims via photographs along with claimant/witness interviews and evaluate all relevant information to determine how claims should be resolved
• Consult police and hospital records
• Work with attorneys to defend insured’s position if claim is contested
• Negotiate with claimants to successfully settle claims
