Insurance Brokerage - Director of Employee Benefits Division &

Alper Services LLC, located in Chicago, IL, is a privately owned Insurance Broker and Consultant and is recognized as an industry leader with a long term client base and strong client relationships. We are currently seeking a Director of Employee Benefits who will oversee the workflow and supervise the staff of the Employee Benefits Division. Job Responsibilities: Assignment of clients and prospects for services, renewal and marketing. Direct supervision, mentoring, and training of Employee Benefits Division Account Managers and Account Assistant. Meeting with potential partners such as insurance carriers, wellness vendors, and financial institutions. Creating various reports on Employee Benefits block of business by revenue, new case sell, lost business, etc. Collaborating with Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty producers on prospective clients. Developing new business opportunities (cross-selling). Assisting employers with plan elections and contribution strategies. Claims assistance. Conducting and constructing agenda for weekly Employee Benefits Division meetings. Managing, troubleshooting, and researching solutions for software systems including AMS 360, HRConnection and Easy Apps. Other projects as assigned.
