We are assisting our client, a well-established insurance and financial services company, to find an experienced Accounting/Financial Specialist for their southern CA location.

This position will be responsible for preparing complex financial reports and developing models to improve business operations. Find the main drivers of expenses and provide critical feedback to business partners. There will also be an opportunity to mentor/train a financial analyst.

The ideal candidate will have a college degree, preferably in accounting or related field and a basic understanding of the operations side of the business they support..  5+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance experience. *Must Have: Proficiency in Advanced Excel Access and SAP, Investment Analysis and Budgeting and Forecasting experience, and the ability to develop financial and business models.*

  • CPA and/or MBA is a PLUS
  • Six Sigma Yellow Belt preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a sharing team environment
  • Corporate experience +

Our client offers a competitive compensation/benefits package. This position is bonus eligible. Relocation assistance is not available.
