Acadia has a great opportunity to start your career in insurance as a Claim Trainee.  During the program which begins in June, participants will learn all aspects of commercial property and casualty insurance.  In addition, participants will travel to other Acadia locations to make connections with peers.  Upon completion, the Claim Trainee will be promoted to Claim Representative and will work out of our Rocky Hill, CT or Marlborough, MA office.  You will build relationships with agents and insureds by working with them on investigating, evaluating, reserving, negotiating and resolving casualty claims.

Our ideal candidate will be flexible, have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a team environment.  Effective verbal and written communication skills will be one of the keys to success in this role.  Excellent customer service and organizational skills, strong PC skills with experience in Microsoft Windows and Office applications and analytical ability are required.  The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field.  A valid driver’s license is required.
