Claims Advocate - Work Comp - Contract to Hire

A Managed Services division of large staffing firm providing a suite of staff management services to their clients seeks a Claims Advocate to join the team as a part of their service offering.  As part of this service, they become the employer of record for their clients and assume all the responsibility and risk associated with having this function in-house. We are seeking experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjusters on their behalf. 

• The Claims Advocate helps clients navigate the insurance claims process with a particular focus on bringing claims to a resolution and protecting their client’s best interest. 
• The Claims Advocate educates clients on best practices in advanced claim management; and serves as a resource on complex claim and coverage situations.

Who we seek:

• 5+ years of workers’ compensation claims adjuster experience.
• Knowledge of Illinois and Florida workers’ compensation laws is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• In-depth knowledge of appropriate insurance principles and laws, claim and disability duration, cost containment principles including medical management practices and Social Security and Medicare application procedure as applicable.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
