The Senior Account Manager is a highly engaged, client facing role with a 50/50 ratio of time spent in the office and off-site running client meetings.
A qualified professional has: Bachelor’s degree, at least two (2) years of employee benefits experience in a client facing support role, a group life & health license and can work independent of a producer on plan selection and strategy for groups with 75-150 employees.
This is a tactical role with key characteristics like:
- Communication management between clients, carriers, vendors and producers. Troubleshoot escalated issues regarding eligibility, claims, billing and policy coverage.
- Preparation and delivery of client service materials including meeting agendas and handouts, reports (master stewardship and Milliman), claims reviews, renewal presentations and communication materials (enrollment packets, contribution strategies and compliance documents (SPDs, 5500, etc.).
- Execute and implement service needs including creating customized benefits strategies, release RFPs, prepare rate/renewal confirmations, deliver recaps/quarterly reviews, manage and lead open enrollments.
